honestly, i am not sure if digital photo frame is still a rage these days but nevertheless, we still appreciate a nicely designed digital photo frame with good features and specifications to match. earlier this month, Elecom has announced its latest digital photo frame that it dubbed as the “Un Photoalbum”. it sports a 8-inch TFT LED backlit LCD that has a 1280 x 768 resolution and it fully capable of display photos, playback of audio and video files. the frame itself has an internal 2-Gb storage but more capacity can be achieved through media slot that supports SD, SDHC, MMC and also a mini USB port for connecting to other USB devices.

the built-in 2800 mAh Lithium-ion battery is good for three hours of continuous picture viewing and recharges via an AC power adapter. other features include 3.5-mm audio jack for use with your headphones, power saving mode, kickstand for horizontal placement, and video output at 720p (max 1080i) resolution. there’s a bit of good news here. the menu has support for both Japanese and English languages, thus if you are thinking about importing this gadget, you won’t be left stranded even if you don’t understand Japanese. the Elecom “Un Photoalbum” Digital Photo Frame is slated for release mid of this month, buyer will have a choice of two colors: black or white – though no word on its pricing at this point. more images after the break.
