What if Intel, the world leading chip maker better known for desktop and laptop processors, had its hands in making a gaming laptop? Well, the result is what you see here, a gaming laptop is developed by Intel in collaboration with several laptop makers with the vision of creating a better thin and light gaming laptop. This particular example here is the MAG-15 made by Eluktronics.
Apparently, it is the world’s lightest gaming laptop, tipping the scales at just 1.88 kilograms (4.15 lbs) and mind you, this ain’t no a 13-incher; this is a 15-inch class gaming laptop and it is also just 0.80-inch (20 mm) thin. The extreme lightweight is made possible by magnesium alloy which is being used throughout the laptop, including the top cover, the chassis and even the bottom cover.
And if being thin and light isn’t impressive enough, MAG-15 also packs a massive 6-cell 94 Wh extended life polymer battery which should be good for a regular day of use. MAG-15 also sports a design choice which I thought that is pretty interesting and that is locating the Thunderbolt 3, Ethernet and AC adapter around the back as opposed to the side like most laptop do, thus allowing those essential cables will be out of the way and out of sight, giving it a neater appearance on a desk top setup.
It is a small design consideration but no less significant, IMHO.

It is worthy to note that other collaborating laptop makers will also be offering the same laptop with their respective logo slapped on it.
