Since we are on the topic of instant cameras, I think we should also mention that Fujifilm also has a new smartphone printer. Called instax mini Link+, it might very well be the most sci-fi/industrial, but sleek-looking smartphone printer we have seen yet. Not surprising about the aesthetic, after all, it is a premium model in the instax smartphone printer mini Link series.
As the product name implies, the Fujifilm instax mini Link+ Smartphone Printer lets you print photos on your phone directly using the instax mini Link app (available for both iOS and Android). You can customize and preview the prints in the app before printing. You know, the usuals. It connects wirelessly to your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.1, and supports a wide range of image formats, including JPEG, PNG, HEIF, and DNG.
Where Link+ really flexes is with its new Design Print mode. This mode is built for sharp text and fine patterns, perfect for quotes, doodles, and chaotic mood boards that deserve better than blurry prints. There is also Simple Print mode, tuned for photos, portraits, and artwork.
Design-wise, this thing looks like it belongs in a sci-fi movie prop room. Bold lines, metallic black body, vivid orange accent, and even a metal strap hook so you can carry your printer like a fashion accessory. Fujifilm clearly wants this to live on desks, shelves, and bags—basically, everywhere except the drawers.
The app also got smarter. You can now pull images straight from your phone gallery or Pinterest, then preview how your prints will look in frames, on walls, or on the back of your phone using the new Simulation feature. That means fewer “why did I print this” moments.
The Fujifilm instax mini Link+ Smartphone Printer will be available starting January 30, 2026, priced at US$169.95.
