You know how translucent or transparent silicone material has the tendency to turn yellowish when exposed to light and heat? I can’t imagine anyone would love that to happen. However, this “sun-washed” effect is exactly what you will be getting with with the Casio G-Shock x MISCHIEF collaborative timepiece.
The G-Shock GMWAS140MC-1A MISCHIEF Watch is supposedly inspired by the street fashion culture of the 90s, to which I scratched my head and wonder, “how so?” Is the 90s is sun-washed? Or was three decades considered ‘vintage’? I am stumped. I am not trying to be sheep here, but it does look kind of dope.
Anywho… the G-Shock GMWAS140MC-1A MSCHF Watch features the so-called “sun-washed” themed “vintage-like coloring.” So, you’d be getting a watch that looks “washed out” right-out-of-the-box.
On the watch face, MISCHIEF logo in striking red colorway can be found. The logo can also be found on the case back as well as the watch band. The band is also decorated with the phrase “DEADLY COMBINATION,” which celebrates the powerful team up for this watch.
Rounding up the package is a custom packaging also featuring the MISCHIEF logo printed all over the box.
Beyond the cosmetics, you will find the classic GMAS circular model shape, large side buttons, along with the usual G-Shock features like shock and water resistance (200 meters/660 feet), 1/1000 second stopwatch, speed measurement, auto LED light, lap/split time, ISO 764 class magnetic resistance, countdown timer, 5 daily alarms, 12/24-hour format, and full auto calendar.
