Gatchaman G-2 Condor Attacker Prototype
A transforming six-wheeled vehicle with a deployable drone, light-up features, and missile launchers makes this prototype one to watch.

The Gatchaman II G-1 Eagle Sharp with Ken the Eagle from Ramen Toy has yet to ship, but the Singapore-based toy company is already working on the second mecha: the G-2 Condor Attacker. The toy is now at its prototype stage, pending licensor approval. And boy, are we thrilled.

The G-2 Condor features an updated bird-inspired vehicle that deploys from the New God Phoenix and is Joe’s ride of choice. It is primarily a six-wheeled land vehicle that can transform into an aircraft. It is a very unique condor-inspired machine, complete with a deployable drone mounted on top.

Ramen Toy’s prototype is fully functional, showing off its gimmicks, including wheels that rotate 90° downward to transform into jet mode. It looks like it will roll on rubber tires. It will also have light-up thrusters on both the main vehicle and the drone, while the drone itself boasts light-up “eyes.” The drone is, of course, removable, and it appears that the light-up features only activate when the drone is detached from the main vehicle. We could be wrong, but if that is the case, it might be the coolest feature of this toy.

The prototype also features a transparent, sliding canopy that retracts to reveal a detailed cockpit. It has a removable nose cone that reveals a claw/rake-like mechanism that can throw punches at the press of a button. The toy also features two missile launchers flanking the claw weapon, which can fire a pair of missiles by activating a button inside the cockpit. It looks like it launches one side with each press.

Anyhoo, the design is pending approval by the licensor at this point. Judging by how the G-1 is progressing, do not expect the G-2 Condor Attacker to be a product money can buy anytime soon.

If anyone’s interested, the Gatchaman II G-1 Eagle Sharp with Ken the Eagle is still available for pre-order for US$150. Estimated delivery is supposed to be in Q1 2026. So, I guess it is anytime soon?
