marking its 90th anniversary, Gucci announced the retro-styled time pieces dubbed the Gucci Coupé Limited Edition. the watches feature Swiss-made automatic movement from an undisclosed source and Gucci’s diamond pattern on the strap and the dial. this gorgeous time piece sports a 40mm brushed stainless steel casing and has the words “G.Gucci 1921” on its dial. these time pieces are special, limited edition and are available in either black dial face and strap or cream dial face with brown strap. presumably, the straps are of quality leather.

the Gucci Coupé Limited Edition has a price tag of $2,650. i must say, these watches have my attention fairly quickly. i always has this notion that watches born out from non-watchmaker are not appealing enough but i guess my perception may have just changed now. oh, according to HODINKEE, there are also a non-limited, quartz version of the Coupé watches too.
