LEGO Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier 76354 set with Quinjet runway and minifigure display stand
The LEGO Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier returns as set 76354 with 3,057 pieces, refined flight deck markings, interior Avengers movie references, and six minifigures including Nick Fury and Winter Soldier.

The LEGO Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier has the same thing going as the LEGO The Dark Knight Tumbler. The latter had an improved version seven years later in 2021. Now, there’s an improved version of the “UCS” LEGO Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, too—possibly much to the delight of fans who missed it, but to the horror of fans who already sold their soul to purchase the 76042 in 2015.

It is sad to say that, as in the Tumbler’s case, the new LEGO Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier (76354) looks like a better, neater, and more playable version. That is definitely an ouch moment for loyal fans. Why LEGO keeps doing that is beyond me.

Anyhoo, meet the new LEGO Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier (76354). It’s a set made for adult fans of LEGO (AFOLs), measuring 68 cm (26.5 inches) long, 44 cm (17.5 inches) wide, and 30 cm (11.5 inches) tall with the buildable minifigure stand, and boasting detailed features including the runways, engines, a control tower, aircraft, interior rooms, and more.

It is not quite a build-and-display model. Well, it is, but it has some dynamic elements to it, starting with the runway, which can be removed to allow access to the interior. On the inside, multiple scenes from the Avengers movies can be referenced using simplified representations of familiar characters. You can also play out the “fire on the engine” scene with the included flame elements. Finally, there’s the included Quinjet, which can be placed midair using a posing stick.

The set comes with six minifigures, featuring Winter Soldier, Captain America, Phil Coulson, Maria Hill, Hawkeye, and Nick Fury. The Hawkeye minifigure comes with a head featuring an alternate expression. It includes the normal Hawkeye face and the face from when he was under Loki’s mind control in The Avengers (2012), during the attack on S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. The minifigures can be displayed on stands alongside the nameplate, on the stand, and with the posing sticks. Very cool.

With this new LEGO Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier (76354), it is not larger in size, but it is larger in pieces. It packs 3,057 pieces, compared to the first generation’s 2,995 pieces. Thankfully, the S.H.I.E.L.D. logos on the flight deck aren’t in eye-stabbing yellow this time; they are in grey and orange. The flight deck is also bursting with life with details, and I am also grateful that the other eye-stabbing element, the barriers, aren’t present.

The LEGO Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier (76354) is set to drop on June 01, 2026, for a grand US$399.99.
