Halloween Cars Available On Turo

While kids go about trick or treating this Halloween, grown ups hit up parties. If you are doing the latter, you will need a matching ride to make an entrance. It is not mandatory, but it’d be a more complete experience. More so if your theme of choice is say, Scooby-Doo, Ghostbusters, or perhaps Back to the Future because, Turo has just the rides for you.

For the uninitiated, Turo is a peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace. Think of it as the AirBnB for cars where folks can share their cars that they are not using in return for a fee. So, yeah, it is a car rental of sort.

Anywho, Turo has added the three iconic movies/TV show automobiles to its catalog just in time for Halloween and it includes the highly recognizable Mystery Machine from Scooby-Doo, the Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters and the DMC DeLorean seen in Back to the Future.

So whether you are dressing up as Shaggy Rogers (weird choice, but we won’t judge. We promise), or Peter Venkman or maybe as Marty McFly or Doc Brown, there is a ride to complete the look and perhaps even giving your character a boost in realism. Why? Because, its Halloween in 2019.

Do note that the Ecto-1 does not come with Slimer as your chauffeur and as for the DeLorean, it does not, I repeat, it does not travel through time.

There is no flux capacitor nor are there time machine gizmos. It is just a regular, brush stainless steel DeLorean. So refrain from going 88 mph (the speedometer tops out at 85 anyways) at your empty carpark at your local mall. It won’t go anywhere except the party in your current time.

Prices for these iconic automobiles range from $89 per day to $250 per day.
