We haven’t featured iQOO in quite a while, and it seems it has now taken on a life of its own. Initially, I believe, it was a model under the Vivo brand, but it has since grown into an independent brand, still under Vivo’s umbrella. The last time we talked about iQOO was back when the iQOO 7 launched. Since then, it has been thriving in China and parts of the world. Most recently—well, late last month—it unveiled its latest offering, the iQOO 13.
This phone isn’t just another smartphone; it’s a tech juggernaut that screams speed, style, and cutting-edge performance. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, this device doesn’t walk—it flies. iQOO has worked with Qualcomm to squeeze every ounce of power from the chip, tuning it to handle intense gaming, multitasking, and photography with ease. Add in a massive 24 MB L2 cache and Samsung LPDDR5X Ultra memory, and you’ve got what iQOO proudly calls its “iron triangle” of CPU, memory, and storage.
Gamers, take note: the iQOO 13 is your new best friend. The Supercomputing Chip Q2 cranks up gaming visuals to 2K resolution with a blazing 144Hz refresh rate. Paired with Ultra-Wide Vibration Motors and Symmetrical Drum Master Speakers, the immersive experience is dialed up to eleven. Even in intense gaming sessions, the phone stays cool thanks to a 7000 mm² vapor chamber cooling system.
Visually, the phone doesn’t disappoint. The Legend edition flaunts racing-inspired red, black, and blue stripes—a nod to iQOO’s partnership with BMW M Motorsport. The Alpha edition opts for a sleek matte black finish, while the Nardo Grey model takes inspiration from Italy’s iconic Nardò Ring. And then there’s the Monster Halo, a glowing light on the back cover that pulses with music or game activity. Yes, your phone can now out-party you.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the iQOO 13’s flagship-grade cameras. It borrows tech from Vivo’s high-end devices, including VCS technology and NICE 2.0 algorithms for crisp images, impressive night shots, and textured street photography. With optical zoom ranging from 0.6x to 4x and digital zoom up to 30x, you can capture everything from sweeping landscapes to microscopic details.
The iQOO 13 also takes eye protection seriously, with OLED Circular Polarization Technology and TÜV Rheinland-certified 2592 Hz PWM Dimming. Translation: you can binge-watch or game for hours without burning your retinas. Add in a beefy 6000 mAh battery with 120W FlashCharge, and you’ve got a phone that’s built to keep up with your craziest days (and nights).
The iQOO 13 launched in Indonesia on November 28, with rollouts in India, Thailand, Malaysia, and even the UAE and Saudi Arabia following shortly after. Prices are expected to vary by region, but if the specs are anything to go by, this might just be the flagship that leaves others in its dust. You can learn more about the new IQOO 13 HERE.
