well, what can we say? if you can max out the 1TB worth of digital storage space in the Kingston DataTraveler HyperX Predator 1TB USB Flash Drive, then you probably won’t want to lose this little guy for your life. seriously, 1TB is crazy lot of data and in a form factor that is, well, the size of thumb. sometimes we thought the technological advancements are pretty mind-boggling. then again, we are not complaining a bit. Kingston unveiled this small little monster drive at the recent 2013 International CES and we must say they had our 100 percent attention. officially, this USB stick is called Kingston DataTraveler HyperX Predator, so as not to mix up with its HyperX memory products. anyway, with a huge capacity comes the necessity for a fast data transfer interface and for that, the DataTraveler HyperX Predator utilizes the USB 3.0 interface for a blazing 240MB/s and 160MB/s, read and write speed, respectively. the Kingston HyperX Predator 1TB USB Flash Drive is set to be available this quarter with an yet-to-be-announced price tag but there’s one 512GB version which is already shipping that cost a whopping $898 a pop on Amazon, so you can imagine how much a Terabyte would go for. we dare say it could be around the region of 3 grand, if not more. learn more about the Kingston HyperX PredatorHERE. check out a product video after the break.
