We have talked about transparent air fryers before, so watching dinner slowly become edible is no longer technological witchcraft. However, Kismile has decided the experience could use faster cooking, colorful status lights, and a glass bowl that can go straight from fryer to table. Along the way, it may also offer fewer opportunities to burn the fries while pretending everything is under control.
Meet the Kismile AeroLucen Glass Air Fryer, a 5-quart countertop cooker built around a transparent borosilicate-glass bowl. It lets you watch food brown and crisp without repeatedly opening the appliance and releasing the heat—an activity otherwise known as sabotaging dinner through impatience.
Under the hood are a 3,600-RPM DC motor, PID temperature control, and a 1,500-W carbon-fiber heating element. Kismile claims the combination can cook 0.5 lb (227 g) of frozen pre-fried fries in as little as 8 minutes or an entire chicken in 30 minutes, without preheating or chopping it into smaller chicken-shaped pieces.
Its temperature range runs from 90°F to 450°F (32°C to 232°C), covering everything from proofing dough to broiling. A four-color animated “speed ring” indicates the selected mode and fan speed, while the Cool-Loop airflow system keeps the touch panel comfortable to operate.
The reversible Magic Crisper Plate provides either the full 5-quart capacity or raises food closer to the heating element while reducing the cooking space to 2.5 quarts. Meanwhile, the PFAS-coating-free glass bowl and crisper plate are dishwasher-safe. Add the supplied lid after cooking, and the bowl can also be used for serving or storing leftovers—assuming there are any.
