LEGO has just revealed a new LEGO Ghostbusters ECTO-1 and holy smoke! It is the largest and the most detailed LEGO brick Ghostbusters ECTO-1 ever created and the most accurate brick-based representation of the iconic converted 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance.
Packing 2,323 pieces this adult fan of LEGO (AFOL) collectible is loaded with features including a moving ghost sniffer activated by the wheels, working steering wheel, the new “Gunner” seat that rotates out as seen in the movie trailer, and a boatload of other paranormal detection equipment on the detailed roof rack.
Of course, the car complete with printed versions of the No Ghost logo on the doors, along with bits of stickers to simulate the rust this iconic vehicle have endured over the years (also as seen in the movie trailer). Absolutely gorgeous. And I am totally pumped.
Very serious LEGO enthusiasts may want to note that this set features two brand new LEGO bricks elements: a new 6×14 curved windscreen and a new 5 module steering wheel.
The LEGO 10274 Ghostbusters ECTO-1 measures over 8 inches (22.5 cm) high, 18 inches (47 cm) long and 6 inches (16.5 cm) wide when built. The set is set to drop on November 15 ahead of the film release in 2021, for US$199.99.
