LEGO 40335 Space Rocket Ride Gift

Good news, space fans. Starting from June 05, 2019, LEGO is having a Gift with Purchase campaign where you can bagged a fan-created LEGO 40335 Space Rocket Ride worth $12.99. Created by Texan engineer Mark, Space Rocket Ride was a winner of LEGO Ideas contest “Moments in Space” and it would be the first Gift with Purchase item designed by a LEGO fan. Obviously, the destined-for-market set differs slightly from Mark’s original design.

If you don’t already know, it is a norm for LEGO to tweak fans-created designs for various reasons. Inspired by those quarters-operated kiddie ride found outside shops of shopping malls, the 154-piece LEGO 40335 Space Rocket Ride is a kinetic sculpture of sort that comes to life by turning a crank on the base. Here’s the official conditions:

“Qualifying purchase must be equal to or greater than $99 / $1800 (MX) in merchandise only; any applicable taxes, shipping charges, or value of gift cards purchased do not apply to merchandise total. Offer excludes Bricks & Pieces and backorder items. Cannot be applied to previous purchases or combined with any other discount, offer or free gift. One free set per household. Item is valued at approximately a $12.99 (US) / $16.99 (CA) retail value and cannot be exchanged or substituted for any other item or cash value. Item is available exclusively through this offer; additional sets cannot be purchased. Offers not valid at LEGOLAND® Parks or LEGOLAND Discovery Centers. The LEGO Group reserves the right to cancel or modify these promotions at any time without advance notice.”

The LEGO 40335 Space Rocket Ride will be available with purchases made both online and from brick and mortar LEGO Stores. Offer is valid from June 05, 2019 through June 18, 2019, 11:59PM EST, or while stocks last. More looks and an official video below.
