You heard it is coming and now, it is official. We are talking about collaboration with American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, and fashion designer Pharrell Williams. This is the second LEGO collaboration with an artiste for a LEGO set. The last one we saw was the snazzy BTS collab.
The LEGO Group and Pharrell Williams have teamed up to inspire creativity with their new set, LEGO Over the Moon. This set, designed in collaboration with Pharrell, is inspired by his love for space and imagination. It features a black-and-gold shuttle with a colorful jet stream that represents the power of creativity.
Pharrell’s vision for the set includes inclusivity, with the widest range of minifigure skin tones ever seen in a LEGO product. The Over the Moon set also introduces new custom pieces, including a golden windscreen canopy.
Pharrell’s passion for creativity extends to his non-profit organization, YELLOW, which will collaborate with LEGO on a global LEGO Build the Change challenge, bringing more creative play to kids worldwide. The release of this set comes just ahead of the debut of “PIECE BY PIECE,” a LEGO-animated biopic of Pharrell’s life, which will premiere in US theaters on October 11.
LEGO Over the Moon (10391) set will be available for pre-order on September 4, 2024, and in stores on September 20, 2024, priced at US$109.99.
