LEGO Ideas BTS Dynamite (21339) Set Will Drop On March 01 For US$99.99

This is it. South Korean boy band sensation BTS aka Bangtan Boys has officially become the biggest pop act in the world. How do I know this? Well, because the band now has its very own LEGO set: the LEGO Ideas BTS Dynamite (21339). I don’t recall any pop act/celebrity getting the LEGO treatment in recent times. OK, maybe except for Spice Girls.

Even then, that was a LEGO Brickheadz set not quite a LEGO set. Anyhoo, so yeah, the fan-designed LEGO BTS set based on the band’s music video of the global smash-hit single “Dynamite” has been finalized by the LEGO design team.

The LEGO Ideas BTS Dynamite (21339) uses 746 pieces to let you recreate the mirror scenes from the uber-vibrant music video with features like brick-build versions of the disco, record store, donut store, along with details like the ice-cream truck, basketball hoop, and two palm trees. Each building is fully detachable from the set for individual play and display.

Completing the LEGO version of the Dynamite MV are seven members of the band in LEGO Minifigure form which you can set them up around the set or place on the special stage and turn the wheel to see them “dance”.

All seven minifigures of the band members – RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook – are decorated with prints resembling the outfit they wore in the scenes from the music video (specifically, the scene in front of the disco building).

When completed, the set measures over 5.5 in. (14 cm) high, 15 in. (38 cm) wide, and 6 in. (16 cm) deep.

The LEGO Ideas BTS Dynamite (21339) Set is based on the creations of LEGO Ideas members Josh (JBBrickFanatic) and Jacob (BangtanBricks).

The set is scheduled to be available on March 01, 2022, as an adult fan of LEGO (AFOL) collectible set, for US$99.99.
