Meet the LEGO Shrek: Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots (72423)—a display-style build that brings Shrek’s swamp straight onto your shelf, complete with brick-built Shrek and Donkey, plus a Puss in Boots minifigure keeping things stylish as always. The trio stands on a swamp base that even includes the classic “Beware Ogre!” sign, just in case visitors forget whose territory they are entering.
This is not a small nostalgia snack either. The set clocks in at 1,403 pieces, measures over 24 cm (9.5 in.) tall, and is designed as an 18+ display model, which tells you immediately that this one is meant less for playtime and more for proudly occupying desk real estate.
LEGO did not stop at the obvious characters. The swamp base hides little nods longtime fans will recognize, including sunflowers, an onion, and the famous blue flower with red thorns. There are even hidden Easter eggs tucked inside Shrek himself—yes, really—which feels perfectly on-brand for a character who never took fairy tales too seriously in the first place.
