LEGO Technic Dodge Viper, Ferrari 488 and more
The Dodge Viper GTS-R, Ferrari 488 PISTA, and a green Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport are joining the LEGO Technic garage with working steering, moving pistons, and Forza Horizon 6 tie-ins.

Petrolheads are gonna go ga-ga over these new LEGO Technic sets. The Dodge Viper GTS-R, America’s beloved purpose-built race car, has been given the LEGO Technic treatment. In addition, the Ferrari 488 PISTA car and a Green Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport have also joined the Technic sports car garage. And yes, all three are in scales that strike a balance between model accuracy and affordability. Not that LEGO is affordable in recent years, but you get the idea.

LEGO Technic Dodge Viper GTS-R Sports Car (42234)

LEGO Technic Dodge Viper GTS-R Sports Car (42234)

First up is a first for Dodge and LEGO: a tribute to the legendary endurance race car, the Dodge Viper GTS-R. I understand why the Viper was never a LEGO set until now. It is not easy to recreate the exaggerated, aggressive curves of the Viper using LEGO elements. TBH, I didn’t think the LEGO Technic Dodge Viper GTS-R Sports Car (42234) was particularly true to the real car, but as close as it can get. The fastback is particularly cool-looking and true to the actual car, though.

But never mind that because this model is not only officially licensed by Dodge, but it is also a Forza Horizon 6 video game tie-in. This means, you guessed it, acquiring this model unlocks a special LEGO Technic livery in the Forza Horizon 6 video game (not included) using the instructions provided inside the box.

Designed for kids aged 10 and up (and, again, us, obviously), the LEGO Technic Dodge Viper GTS-R Sports Car (42234) is an 805-piece set that, when completed, features authentic details including a hood that opens to reveal the glorious V10 engine with moving pistons, opening doors, working steering, a functional differential, and a strikingly huge spoiler.

The completed model measures 30 cm (11.5 inches) long, 13 cm (5 inches) wide, and 8 cm (3 inches) tall.

It is set to release on August 1, 2026, for US$64.99.

The Ferrari 488 is certainly no stranger to LEGO, but a set that is accurate to the real thing and does not require you to sacrifice a year’s worth of lunches is kind of new. Folks, meet the LEGO Technic Ferrari 488 PISTA Car (42235). It is clearly more cohesive than the 42234, thanks to its less ambitious lines that just so happen to have the right Technic elements for them.

Aimed at kids aged 9 and up (and us, of course), the 42235 boasts realistic details including working steering, opening doors and hood, a functional differential, a V8 engine with moving pistons, and the same livery as its digital counterpart in the Forza Horizon 6 video game.

That’s right. This car is not only officially licensed by the Prancing Horse marque, but it is also a tie-in with Microsoft’s latest racing video game, too. As with the Viper GTS-R, acquiring this set also lets you unlock a special LEGO Technic livery in the game. The game is, of course, not included.

It contains 882 elements and, when completed, measures 28 cm (11 inches) long, 13 cm (5 inches) wide, and 8 cm (3 inches) tall.

The set will arrive on August 1, 2026, for US$64.99.

No. You are not having déjà vu, and you did not remember the color of the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport wrongly either. For some reason, LEGO and Bugatti decided that maybe you should own a green version, and also one that is not in Asphalt Legends.

That’s right, my friends, there is now a green Technic Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Hypercar. The LEGO Technic Green Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Hypercar (42241), as it is officially known, is the same—right down to the piece count (771)—as the 42222 we saw earlier this year.

Also for kids aged 9 and up (again, also us), the green version features everything the Asphalt Legends version has, including working steering, a detailed W16 engine, opening doors, and an opening hood.

When completed, the model measures 29 cm (11 inches) long, 13 cm (5 inches) wide, and 8 cm (3 inches) tall.

The 42241 will also be available on August 1, 2026, for US$64.99.

Keep going for a few more looks.
