Globetrotting LEGO enthusiasts finally have a set that represents their passion for traveling. The globe is cool and all, but it is too general to count as an icon for travel. The LEGO Travel Moments (41838), however, lets your memories in prints be displayed with the set.
Designed as a creative activity set for families and kids 14 and up, the LEGO Travel Moments (41838) set includes 1,231 elements to build a world map, a jet (dubbed the Wonderliner jet), 4 micro-build vehicles, 20 location tiles, 10 photo holders, and 5 instruction booklets.
The 5 instruction booklets, along with separate bags and modular components, allow 5 builders to work on the set simultaneously. The completed set, which measures over 5.5 in. (14 cm) high, 19.5 in. (49 cm) wide, and 12 in. (31 cm) deep in combined mode, lets you display travel memories or plan new adventures.
You can choose to display the map and other components separately. For example, you may mount the map on the world as a LEGO Atlas, and have the plane set on the tabletop. You can leverage the 10 photo holders to customize the set with photos, postcards, and souvenirs from your trips, as well as use the micro-build vehicles and location tiles to mark where you have been or plan your trips.
The set is inspired by the Fox’s LEGO Masters (US) Season 4 winner model. It also contains exclusive content and a portrait of Fox’s LEGO Masters Season 4 winners.
The LEGO Travel Moments (41838) is available for pre-order now for US$149.99, with availability starting August 01, 2024. Recommend for ages 14 and up.
