Louis Vuitton reimagines the classic gyoza dumpling as a Monogram leather pouch, complete with sculpted folds, gold hardware, and wrist carry option.
Louis Vuitton has turned a familiar Japanese dumpling into a luxury accessory. The Gyoza Pouch takes its cue from the folded shape of the beloved snack, translating those pleats into a sculpted leather silhouette. Made from beige cowhide leather with a subtle Monogram motif, the pouch measures 12 × 5.9 × 3.9 inches (30.5 × 15 × 9.9 cm) and is designed as a compact carry piece rather than a full handbag.
The interior keeps things simple with a single cotton-lined compartment secured by a zip closure, while gold-toned hardware and a detachable wrist band add practical touches. The result is equal parts playful reference and fashion statement—because apparently even dumplings can go luxury.
