Are you a rich person who enjoy luxury goods from say, Louis Vuitton, and also yearning to do some good for the world? Well, now you can with the Louis Vuitton I (RED) Perfumed Candle.
The candle is similar to the Louis Vuitton range of scented candles, but with touches of red and a major difference: each candle sold, $60 will go to the Global Fund to fight AIDS with (RED).
Beyond the red accents, the candle boasts a scent inspired by a summer garden which is whipped up by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. If you really what this “summer garden” smells like, it would be “a blend of fresh peony with fruity accents of raspberry.”
According to Hypebeast, the design of the candle was led by celebrated designer March Newson and the hardware is hand-cast in white ceramic with leather handle.
The red accent is not limited to the metal lid (which is no doubt the most prominent, however). It is also found the edge (or was it called the side?) of the leather handle as well as the wick.
Honestly, I wouldn’t bear to lit it up if I were you, well, that’s if I even bear to part with $185 for the candle to begin with.
Like I have said, if you are rich and are into all thing LV, perhaps you can do some good by opting for the Louis Vuitton I (RED) Perfumed Candle over other fragrance candles from the Parisian fashion house.
