As the product name suggests, the box set include the series that was re-edited for theatrical release as three separate movies, namely, Mobile Suit Gundam (1981), Mobile Suit Gundam II: Soldiers of Sorrow and Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space, and remastered in 4K and recorded on three 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and 3 Blu-ray Discs.

In other words, 3 discs are in 4K while the other three are in 1080p. Total runtime is 427 minutes which includes 15 minutes bonus content. Connoisseurs will be glad to know that the set features the first Dolby Atmos audio in the Gundam series.

Bonus include a segment called Beyond The Universal Century featuring interviews with the production staff. And it does not end there.
