Montegrappa Venus de Milo Pen

Here’s your chance to own a piece of ancient Greek history, specifically, the Venus de Milo. Marking two centuries since her unearthing, Italian writing instrument maker Montegrappa has introduced the Montegrappa Venus de Milo pen. It is the closest you will ever get to owning an actual Venus de Milo.

Using an exclusive molding technique, Montegrappa shapes high-resolution marble ‘flour’ into a three-dimensional miniature that forms part of this exquisite piece of writing instrument.

As you can see, the details are pretty incredible (I mean, given its size). The pen is completed by opulent, precious metal trims rich with Ancient Greek and baroque motifs. But honestly, the star is the miniature marble statue.

There are two versions: piston-fed 18K rose gold nib and solid 18K yellow gold Supreme Edition. The former is limited to 200 fountain pens and 200 rollerballs, while the latter has just 8 fountains and 4 rollers to go around.
