recently, we have seen a trend of ‘reissue’ when it comes to sneakers and here’s yet another ‘a blast from the past’ from Nike. dubbed as the Nike Oregon Waffle Vintage Running Shoes, it is based on its ‘ancestor’ that was issue way back in the 70s, this pair of running shoes features a combo of textile, suede, and polyester for a light weight but comfortable fit. just in case you are wondering why is it called ‘Waffle’, well, i guess the rubber outsole in waffle pattern did something to inspire that name.

strangely, with the developments in running technology, it seems to me that are wrapping up and going back in time in shoe design which makes me wonder, are the technology used today (in running shoes) a bluff? nevertheless, it is still pretty sweet stuff. ’nuff said, think my search for the successor to my current worn pair of Nike ends here. available in either Pine Green/Granite hue or Sport Red/Black, these retrolistic shoes are up for grab over at the Nike online store for $85 a pair.
