Nike Collaborates With Apple For Apple Watch NikeLab

Nike has once again teamed up with Apple to introduce another Apple Watch. Yes, the first was announced just last September, but last week, the sporting goods maker has unveiled the second, this time introducing Nike’s collaborative innovation platform called NikeLab. The new Nike collab Apple Watch, dubbed Apple Watch NikeLab is a limited edition smart timepiece in neutral-tone, sporting black and cream watch band paired to a Space Gray Apple Watch Series 2.

Obviously, style weighs pretty heavy here along with all the goodness that comes with a Nike-centric Apple Watch and these includes deep integration with the Nike+ Run Club app, exclusive Siri commands, GPS, a two-tomes brighter display, and possibly Apple’s proudest innovation for the second generation Apple Watch, water resistance up to 50 meters (164 feet). Of course, NikeLab users will also be treated to the same dual-core processor and watchOS 3.

Apple Watch NikeLab will be available on nike.com, as well as brick and mortar NikeLab and Apple Watch Store at Isetan Shinjuku. Ermmm, don’t ask me why. Honestly, if I were to buy an Apple Watch, Apple Watch NikeLab will be it, but unfortunately, I little to no interest in non-ruggedized timepiece, smart or non-smart. But do allow me to chip in a little more: personally, I think neutral tone is way sleeker than the black and lime green Nike+ version. Maybe, it is just me.

Pricing is unknown at this point, but it should be same to the predecessor and if so, you probably can expect the 38mm model to retail for $369 and the 42mm, $399.
