It has been nearly 19 years since Animal Crossing was introduced on Nintendo 64 and GameCube (or 18 for N.A.), and 8 years since the last game hit Nintendo 3DS (or 7 in N.A.). The game is finally coming back to Nintendo, this time on Switch (obviously) and on March 20, 2020.

Prior to that, if you are such a big fan of the game, you will be glad that there is going to be an Animal Crossing edition Nintendo Switch coming your way on March 13. The special edition console features “unique” Joy-Con controllers, a custom design on the back, plus a special Nintendo Switch dock.

Strangely, though, it does not come with the game. I know. It is totally off, but that’s not unusual with Switch (or is it?).

For those can’t hardly wait, you may want to pre-order the Nintendo Switch Console Animal Crossing on Best Buy for $299.99. Or if you prefer, you can pre-order a copy of the game on Amazon for $59.99.

You may have noticed images of the cheerful carrying case posted here. That is also available for purchase on March 13, 2020. It is the official merch for your Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite called Horizons “Aloha Edition” carrying case and comes with a screen protector too.
