You have already seen the new Nissan Z and you have probably seen the GT4 variant dressed in the traditional NISMO livery. Now meet the specially-constructed Nissan Z GT4, decorated in a unique livery that ties in past vintage racing heritage with modern design. We love the traditional livery but man, this new livery is killing it.
The new livery proudly displays the number “23”, a Nissan exclusive number, on the hood. The number is set against a rising sun circle harking back to the very early racing liveries of the 70s.
In addition, the new Z logos on the rear quarter panel highlight the modern interpretation of the original 240Z and Fairlady Z badging, and against the iconic Nissan and NISMO red and black color scheme.
Under the hood, the Z GT4 is driven forth by a 2,997cc VR30DDTT engine producing 450 horses and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque, and it rolls on 18-inch wheels with the rear wheels a tad wider.
The Nissan Z GT4 is a race car destined for the tracks. Racing teams who are interested may purchase the vehicle for US$229,000 which will include the required race package but not include shipment, handling charges, and tax.
For the Nissan Z GT4’s inaugural 2023 season, Nissan/NISMO will provide cars to pilot customer teams in the U.S. and Japan for the SRO Pirelli GT 4 America series and Super Taikyu Series, respectively.
NISMO will also extend technical support to the teams. Vehicles are slated to be supplied in 2024 with orders being accepted starting mid-2023.
