nubia Flip 5G Folding Phone

As it turns out, the ZTE Libero Flip is not limited to Japan. It is available outside of Japan but not as a ZTE device; it is branded under ZTE’s nubia. The phone actually debuted as nubia Flip 5G at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2024. This makes it the first flip smartphone from ZTE.

The nubia Flip 5G is targeted at young consumers, combining affordability with functionality, offering unique features adapted for its external display, including a camera app for distinctive photography and selfie experiences via its internal and external dual screens.

Other highlights include AG etched glass, a 50 MP dual camera, a 16 MP front beauty camera, internal and external preview of imaging, multi-angle folding for versatile shooting, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, a 4310 mAh battery that supports 33 W fast charging, dual speakers, and support for DTS:X Ultra audio.

The nubia Flip 5G will have a starting price of US$599 when it becomes available.
