Do you know Tokyo-based fashion accessories brand, AMBUSH? And do you know that its signature bag is the Heart Padlock Bag? Well, never mind if you don’t because you are going to know now – thanks to a unique collaboration between the Chinese smartphone maker Oppo and AMBUSH for an exclusive accessory for the recently unveiled Oppo Find N3 Flip folding phone.
Created by AMBUSH creative director, YOON, and inspired by the Heart Padlock Bag designed by YOON, the new Oppo x AMBUSH Flipped Padlock envelopes the compact Oppo Find N3 Flip while staying true to the heart-shaped design – complete the with shackle for convenient carrying.
It is presented in a trendy, eye-catching pink shade to bring out the chic look, and rocks opening for the camera module and the large 3.36” vertical second display.
There are also no images of what this cool yet decidedly cumbersome case looks like on the flipped side but there’s a video posted on the AMBUSH Instagram page that gave a hint of how it works.
From the video, we know that the Oppo x AMBUSH Flipped Padlock is essentially a regular case with a regular old case on the lower half and a top half in the head-turning heart shape with the padlock shack. So, yeah, it is not actually a bag which is a shame cos it looks like it could fit a small lipstick in it if it was a bag. Just saying…
Anyhoo… the Oppo x AMBUSH Flipped Padlock case for Oppo Find N3 Flip debuts this month (December) in China, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines for a yet-to-be-disclosed sticker.
