If you are in the market for an automatic timepiece that screams style and will not break the bank, then perhaps you may want to consider the new PEREN Regia Automatic 39.
Inspired by the most precise ancient calendars of its time (the Sarmizegetusa Regia calendar from Transylvania), and the utilitarian Stonehenge, the new Regia range of automatic wristwatches adheres to the young watchmaker’s tradition of using the best materials with a focus on precision and attention to details, with each watch hand built in Switzerland and individually hand-polished and undergoes extensive testings.
Each timepiece is individually numbered and limited in quantity, the Regia range is powered by a Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 in-house regulated automatic movement and encased in a 39 mm stainless steel bead-blasted case with a conical rotating uni-directional bezel. It is water resistant to 200 meters or 660 feet.
Other worthy mentions include an aluminum bezel insert topped by anti-reflect sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown, a black metallic dial inspired by the Sarmizegetusa Regia Calendar, 3D Super-LumiNova hours applied indexes with long-lasting blue emissions, laser engraved seconds ring, and a date window at 12 o’clock position.
The new PEREN Regia Automatic 39 has a limited run of just 300 pieces per model. Two models are being offered: Regia and Regia X. The Regia has a minimalist and clean design with a bezel with minimalistic markings. The Regia X, on the other hand, is a retro-modern timepiece with a more detailed bezel with numbers.
Both models are offered in a choice of FKM vulcanized synthetic rubber, stainless steel, or fabric straps.
The PEREN Regia Automatic 39 is available to order with a special pre-order starting price of 693 CHF (about US$788). The final retail price will be 963 CHF (around US$1,096), btw. The wristwatch is expected to be delivered in Q4 2023.
