If money is no object, a driving simulator should not be just a seat with a table that looks straight out of a school lecture room. It should be a piece of art when not used as demonstrated by Prodrive and Pininfarina. Speaking of Pininfarina, an Italian designer, Fabio Bilotta has taken the liberty to imagine a simulator by Pininfarina.
Not sure if Fabio is aware that Pininfarina has designed one. But never mind if Pininfarina did design a simulator or not because what Fabio has proposed is too gorgeous to ignore. Fabio’s Pininfarina Formula Concept Simulator is along the line of Prodrive’s. It has an avant-garde design and also uses wood-like material.
But this concept is kind of very specialized; it is geared toward Formula cars where it has seating that is almost lying on the back and the pedals are almost at chest level. The front end/“dash” appears to be of carbon fiber as one would expect of a Formula car while the rest of the simulator aka the seat is a combination of crafted wood and metal.
