Well, what do you know? Playmobil is having a blast with officially licensed products. In addition to Back to the Future, Scooby-Doo and more recently, A-Team, it now has got the world’s famous fictional international man of mystery covered.
That’s right, folks, James Bond is arriving to Playmobil too! And it starts with the most iconic car in the franchise: the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 straight-out of Goldfinger (United Artists, 1964).
The Playmobil 70578 James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Edition Car Set features some of Q’s greatest upgrades thrown into any car, including a revolving number plate, tire slashers, and an ejector seat.

As with any Playmobil play sets, it comes with a few requisite characters, or four to be precise in this instance. Characters include a 3-inch articulated Agent 007, Auric Goldfinger, Oddjob, and a henchman figure.
The Playmobil 70578 James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Edition Car Set isn’t listed in any of the Playmobil websites. However, Entertainment Earth is accepting pre-order for it for US$89.99.
