while paper airplane is nothing frictional, being able to make one do your bidding does sound like science friction, or a childhood fantasy for some. well, let us reassure you that it is not (a fantasy) and the PowerUp 3.0 iPhone-controlled Paper Airplane will make sure it stays that way. PowerUp, a TailorToys’ brand, banked on its know-how on turning regular paper-folded airplane into an electric power one to grant you remote control over a standard folded paper airplane which can do so with an iPhone. the wireless control is made possible through Bluetooth technology.

all you have to do is to fold a paper airplane and affix the hardware that comprises of Bluetooth receiver and a miniature electric motor that drives a propeller via a carbon fiber shaft. after which, your paper airplane piloting experience would be just an app launch away. if you want something fancier, you can download the template to make an paper aircraft that looks like the one pictured here, but of course, the color and design are entirely up to your discretion (or you could just use colored paper to do the job). available later this month for about $50. see the PowerUp 3.0 iPhone-controlled Paper Airplane in action in the embedded video below.
