Realme GT 7 Dream Edition Smartphone

It has been a while since we revisited Realme. Looking back, this smartphone maker sure has a thing for co-branded smartphones like Redmi does. There was a phone with Coca-Cola, one with Dragon Ball, and probably even more that we have missed. Before this latest gig with HBO’s Game of Thrones, it actually released another co-branded handset with Aston Martin—specifically, the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team.

How did we miss that when it was revealed on May 20? Actually, we didn’t “miss it”; we had just been sitting on it for too long until the GoT handset came along, which reminded me of it. But not to worry—it’s still around. It didn’t exactly fly off the shelves.

For this co-branded phone, Realme took its GT 7 and made it look fast by slapping on the iconic Aston Martin wing logo. Mind you, that’s not a print or just any decal. It was created using a groundbreaking triple-layer process involving etching, polishing, and coloring—pioneered by Realme. At a glance, you’d think Realme had plucked it straight off an Aston Martin’s ride.

The aerodynamic flow-line design serves as another “look-fast” element. Again, the two prominent curves that lead the flow lines aren’t printed. The case back is actually raised, and the subtle curves are a nod to the aerodynamic curve of race cars, and the lines that emanate from each curve, reminiscent of the ultimate rush of the race track. Rounding up the back design is Realme branding in matching silver and a matte Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team green colorway.

Trust me, this is a phone you don’t want to slap a cover on. But if you feel insecure having a naked phone, fret not—Realme and Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team have you covered (literally) with a carbon fiber case that mimics the same elevated back profile. Completing the case design is the Aston Martin emblem in black, along with the familiar “FORMULA ONE TEAM” wording and Realme branding found on the naked phone.

Inside, the co-branded goodness continues. You’ll find an Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team boot-up animation, themed UI with custom icons, and a bespoke charging animation. There’s also an exclusive watermark if you wish to flaunt the F1 affiliation on your photos.

Now let’s talk guts, because this thing isn’t just a pretty face.

The Realme GT 7 is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor—its first outing in Europe—and that chip alone makes this thing a performance monster. Built on a 4 nm process, it punches out an AnTuTu score north of 2.25 million, putting it among the top three Android performers in its class. It’s tuned for speed, stability, and heat management, making it the digital equivalent of Aston Martin’s hybrid power unit—minus the pit crew.

Backing that up is a 7,000 mAh Titan dual-cell battery, certified by TÜV Rheinland, that promises two full days of usage and supports 120 W Ultra Charging. Translation: from zero to full in just 40 minutes. That’s faster than you can say “lights out and away we go.”

Camera-wise, Realme dropped in a 50 MP Sony IMX906 AI Travel Snap Camera, capable of stunning stills and silky 4K video. It’s joined by Realme’s AI Planner, which acts like your digital race strategist—scheduling, reminders, and task management all handled intelligently.

If that isn’t enough, the phone also integrates Google Gemini AI, capable of understanding text, images, audio, code, and video. You can literally plan your day, edit content, and maybe even write your next tweet about how fast this thing charges—all with voice commands.

Design-wise, the Dream Edition—this Aston Martin co-branded beast—features aerospace-grade aluminum Silver Wings, shaped and polished through a multi-step process of laser engraving, diamond polishing, and nano-metallic coloring. Every line and contour screams performance luxury.

If anyone’s interested, the Realme GT 7 Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team Edition a.k.a. Dream Edition retails for €899.99 in Europe (or the local equivalent in your region).
