Redmi just dropped something that looks like it should come with pit crew support. The Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition isn’t just another special edition phone; it’s a Lamborghini in smartphone form. Created in collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse, the racing arm of the Raging Bull, this cobranded flagship takes design cues from the Lamborghini SC63, the brand’s first hybrid endurance race car. It’s got the style and attitude of a supercar but, in true Redmi fashion, no performance bump—just pure visual horsepower.
The backplate channels the spirit of the SC63 with a carbon-fiber-inspired texture, Y-shaped racing contours, and matte dual-stripe patterns that appear to have been peeled straight off a track-ready prototype. A micro-3D layered surface interacts with light, creating a sense of motion even when sitting still. The Lamborghini Squadra Corse shield takes pride of place, rendered through a multi-layer metallic inlay that gleams with precision polish.
The camera deco mirrors the aggressive aerodynamics of a Lambo’s front fascia, complete with polished edges and a jet-black mirror-finish frame. Redmi has also given the software the same treatment with custom Lamborghini startup animation, charging effects, exclusive wallpapers, and racing-style icons, turning the interface into a digital dashboard.
We noted that this model has no Bose speaker on the backplate. It is not clear if does has Sound by Bose.
The special packaging rounds out the experience: a Champion Edition gift box containing a custom case, matching charger, cable, SIM ejector, and documentation—each piece trimmed with Lamborghini flair. Underneath the race suit, the specs remain identical to the standard K90 Pro Max: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, 7,560 mAh battery, 100 W wired flash charge, and 50 W wireless charging.
The Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition is priced at 5,499 yuan [CH] (around US $772). It is luxury in pocketable form—less horsepower, more bragging rights.
