Samsung Galaxy Book6 Series Laptop

This almost slipped us again. We are talking about the new Galaxy Book6. Like many laptops that showed up this year at the CES, the Galaxy Book6 runs on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors built on Intel 18A. Samsung claims up to 60% faster CPU performance and an integrated NPU up to 50 TOPS for on-device Galaxy AI. That’s just icing on the cake.

The range-topping Galaxy Book6 Ultra adds NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 or 5060 graphics with a serious cooling system. The Galaxy Book6 Pro also gets its first vapor chamber. Both Ultra and Pro come with Dynamic AMOLED 2X touch displays up to 1,000 nits and up to 30 hours of battery life.

The Galaxy Book6 lineup comes in three versions: Ultra, Pro, and the standard Book6. All of them run Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chips with up to 16 performance and efficiency cores, plus built-in AI power for tasks like smart search, background removal, translation, and note summaries. It is the kind of laptop that pretends to know what you are doing before you do.

The Ultra is the muscle model. It pairs RTX 5070 or 5060 graphics with a larger vapor chamber, dual outlet fans, and improved airflow. Cooling efficiency is up by 35%, which means fewer moments where your laptop sounds like it is preparing for takeoff. Even with all that hardware, it stays slim at just 15.4 mm, which feels unfair to thicker laptops everywhere.

The Pro is even thinner at 11.9 mm and finally joins the vapor chamber club. Both Ultra and Pro use Dynamic AMOLED 2X touch displays with HDR brightness up to 1,000 nits, 500 nits in SDR, and adaptive refresh from 30 Hz to 120 Hz. Gorilla Glass DXC reduces reflection by up to 75%, so you can actually see your screen instead of your own disappointed face in it.

Battery life goes up to 30 hours, which is longer than most people’s attention span. Fast charging brings the battery back to 63% in 30 minutes, or roughly one coffee break and some bad office small talk. The Ultra also gets six speakers with Dolby Atmos, including four woofers, so it sounds more like a small speaker system than a thin laptop.

Design-wise, Samsung trimmed everything. Thinner fans, wider vapor chambers, refined bezels, and a cleaner hinge make the Ultra and Pro noticeably slimmer than before. The centered logo, curved corners, two-tone keyboard, and haptic touchpad give it that “expensive but polite” look.

Galaxy AI ties it all together. You can select text on screen and get instant info, cut backgrounds from images, search files using normal language, summarize notes, translate content, and move files between your Galaxy phone, tablet, and laptop without cables. One cursor can even move across devices, dragging stuff like it owns the place.

Available in Grey or Silver from late January 2026. Pricing is to be announced.
