I always think high-end headphones designed for the same purpose should have just a model unless the new addition is cheaper. Well, what do you know? The Sennheiser ACCENTUM True Wireless is indeed less pricey than the MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 and yet, it has many of the higher-end earbuds features.
Joining the Sennheiser ACCENTUM Plus is the Sennheiser ACCENTUM True Wireless, featuring the brand’s proprietary 7 mm True Response Transducers with sound further customizable using the 5-band equalizer in the Sennheiser Smart Control app.
The dynamic driver—the same as the driver on the more expensive MOMENTUM True Wireless 4—is said to “reproduce powerful and engaging bass, natural mids, and crisp treble–handling even the most complex modern music without breaking a sweat.”
Another highlight of this pair of high-end TWS is the shape which is a result of analyzing thousands of ear models from hearing aid specialist Sonova. Each ACCENTUM earbud is a balance of comfort, sound, and noise isolation, said Sennheiser.
Speaking of noise isolation, the new ACCENTUM True Wireless features a hybrid active noise cancellation and support for Auracast. Four sizes of ear tips are included to ensure a great seal for impactful low-frequency response and effective hybrid noise cancellation.
That’s not all. It is not lacking support for high-quality audio codecs, which include SBC, AAC, aptX, and LC3.
The Sennheiser ACCENTUM True Wireless offers up to 8 hours of runtime in between charge with the wireless charging capable charging case offering an additional 16 hours. The case also supports quick charging over USB, providing up to an hour of playback with about 10 minutes of charging.
