Sigma has officially declared war on clutter with the BF, a full-frame mirrorless camera so minimalist it makes a blank sheet of paper look busy. If you’re tired of endless buttons, dials, and menus, Sigma has your back—this thing has three buttons, one dial, and a shutter release. That’s it. You’ve got more controls on your toaster.

The BF is milled from a single block of aluminum in a process so meticulous that it takes seven hours per body. That’s right—your camera gets more spa time than you do. The result? A sleek, unibody design that’s probably sturdier than your phone, your laptop, and your willpower on a diet combined.
Inside, it’s rocking a 24.6 MP full-frame BSI CMOS sensor with hybrid autofocus and 6K video at 30p. It even comes with 230 GB of built-in storage, which is a polite way of saying, “No, you don’t need another SD card.” And if you do? Too bad. There’s no slot for one.
Sigma also threw in haptic feedback, so the few buttons it does have feel fancy, and the controls are split across three menus—main, secondary, and management—because nothing screams simplicity like having to navigate a bureaucracy of settings.
At the end of the day, the Sigma BF is a camera that dares to be different. It’s simple, stylish, and possibly made for people who hate remembering where they put their memory cards.
Expected to launch in Spring/Summer 2025. Price? Well, make sure you are seated for this. The body-only price is a whopping US$1,999. It will be available in black or silver finish.
