There is no lack of recipes for mac and cheese burgers on the Internet for burger aficionados who have a thing for mac and cheese too. But for folks who prefer not to roll up their sleeves or set their kitchen on fire, fast-casual better burger restaurant Smashburger has just introduced the S’mac & Cheese Burger which you can savor without doing all the hard work.
Starting from February 17, the S’mac & Cheese Burger is available for a limited time at participating locations across the U.S. What makes the S’mac & Cheese Burger stand out from other regular old mac “n” cheese burgers is that it is prepared using Smashburger’s proprietary smashing technique to smash the mac and cheese on the grill to result in a crispy and flavorful baked cheese layer before introducing it to the burger. Yep. Smashed mac and cheese. This gotta be the first.
The burger is paired with Certified Angus Beef – also smashed on the grill to sear in the juices and seal in the flavor – topped with American cheese and stacked on toasted artisan classic buns. That’s the standard issue. You can also modify any existing burger or sandwich build to add the S’mac & Cheese layer.
From now until March 06, patrons will receive 50% off the S’mac & Cheese Burger when ordering online or through the mobile app. The Smashburger S’mac & Cheese Burger is available for take-out (in-store or curbside pickup), or delivery on Smashburger.com and the mobile app. It can also be ordered through DoorDash, Postmates, Uber Eats, and GrubHub.
To celebrate the lunch of the new S’mac & Cheese Burger, Smashburger is having a giveaway for limited-edition macaroni-shaped body pillows. Folks residing in the U.S. can enter for a chance to win the body pillow on Smashburger’s Instagram page.
