The new Sony Cyber-shot, the DSC-HX99 and DSC-HX95, maybe incredibly compact, but they packs quite a punch, especially with respect to zooming. Affording them with high zoom is the ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* optics which allows it a zoom range of 24 mm up to an astonishing 720 mm super-telephoto. Furthermore, it gets 4K movie recording and at the heart of both models, is the BIONZ X image processing engine, paired to a front-end LSI that affords it with high-speed continuous shooting at up to 10 fps with a buffer limit up to 155 images.
