As much as I hate the words “sold out,” I have to face it and tell you about something you’ll probably have to pay a ridiculous amount for on eBay if you want one. The product in question is the latest fad in entertainment: the popcorn bucket. This one is from Regal to mark the screening of Superman (2025).
Unlike most popcorn buckets, the Superman (2025) Machine Popcorn Bucket does not involve eating out of a character’s head or butt. It showcases one of Superman’s strengths: heat vision.
The bucket features a scale model of a popcorn machine with Superman on the outside, unleashing his iconic heat vision. His heat vision “breaks” through the acrylic and heats the popcorn kettle—seemingly to “pop the corn.” The setup is complete with cracks on one of the transparent panels and graphics of popcorn for good measure.
It’s all for show, obviously. The actual bucket is the machine itself, which holds your already-popped corn. This unique, highly collectible piece of movie memorabilia towers at 14 inches (36 cm) tall and has a sizeable volume of 240 oz. (about 7 liters). It was sold for US$51.95 a pop on store.regmovies.com.
Unfortunately, as hinted earlier, it’s sold out. We’re unsure of this unique popcorn bucket’s status at the theaters, but it’s likely all snapped up. I see no reason why it wouldn’t be.
