The funny thing is, just a day before I came across this made-for-adult coloring book by British artist Sarah Bigwood aka Pixie Rah Designs, I was at out at a local bookstore chain and storefront were coloring books. Well, not those kids kind of coloring books but more sophisticated ones with intricate patterns. While most coloring books, however complex, are deemed for kids, Bigwood’s Sweary Coloring Book is one seriously aimed at grown-ups, specifically for those who love to swear. Why? Cos’ instead of cute bears or zebras, Sarah’s book wants swear words-lovers color up 20 different swear words that ranges from the world’s most loved swear word for all occasion “f*ck” to lesser used and more targeted swear like “c*ock womble”.
The spiral bound book has 20 pages of hand drawn swears printed on high-quality 160gsm papers. With 820 backers and £13,710 raised on Kickstarter, clearly, the world is not lacking Swear words lovers. Swearers who missed Sarah’s Kickstarter endeavor, fret not, cos’ this vulgar art is now on Etsy where you can pre-order it for $16.98, or $18.39 as a single-file digital download.
