i may not be much of a watch fanatics to know the mechanics behind them but this watch from TAG Heuer definitely had me drooling all over. what TAG did for this one-of-the-kind edition time piece was to infuse their ultra accurate (1/100th of a second, to be exact) Mikrograph movement into the iconic Monaco watch. so what we have here is a gorgeous watch blessed with a superb mechanical movement. best of both world. i heard you say? certainly it is.

enclosed within this 43mm stainless steel case is a complex dial in a mixture of black lacquer and silver opaline that features a chronograph power reserve, elapse minutes and seconds, chronograph elapsed seconds, and a flying second hand that is 1/100th of a second accurate. finally, the time piece is topped off with a special box made by South African artist Paul du Toit. the TAG Heuer Monaco Mikrograph will go under the hammer at the Only Watch 2011 to be held at the Monaco Yacht Show on the September 22, 2011.
