Extreme Motorsport Junkies Turned A Suzuki GSX-R Into Snow-going Beast

Finnish extreme motorsport junkies who called themselves Stunt Freaks Team has created a super cool powder-kicking snowmobile, or more correctly put, a ‘snow bike’. Stunt Freaks Team’s snow bike started its life as a Suzuki 1000cc GSX-R, kicking out 170 ponies, but now it has got the front wheel swapped for a ski and the rear, a dual-suspension equipped track that stretch to rear at a ridiculous length. Man, you got see it to believe what these dudes have done. Continue reading Extreme Motorsport Junkies Turned A Suzuki GSX-R Into Snow-going Beast

Meet DT-30PM, The Russian Amphibious Beast You Never Knew Existed

When it comes to moving through unforgiving terrains, no one knows better than the Russians. The Russian has oversaw the birth of a myriad of ATVs, or all-terrain vehicles, like the Sherp ATV, Avtoros Shaman 8×8 ATV, an even a buoyant bike, the Taurus 2×2 all-terrain motorcycle, and today, we found yet another impressive example called DT-30PM. The DT-30PM Amphibious All-terrain Tracked Carrier Vehicle is the modernized version of the original DT-30 first introduced in 1982. It is a multipurpose carrier developed and built by Russian company Vityaz. Continue reading Meet DT-30PM, The Russian Amphibious Beast You Never Knew Existed

Howe & Howe Is Back With A Leaner And Meaner Sport Tank Called EV3-F1

What has a 1,500 horses 727 cu-in HEMI engine and is capable of tearing through any terrain with blunt, brute force, leaving behind track marks? Well, it is certainly not a Jeep. Neither is it a Chrysler, or Dodge. In fact, those rides will be deemed tame by what you about to witness here: Ripsaw EV3-F1 Single Seater Super Tank. Now, do not mistaken this with the Ripsaw EV3-F4, which is a four-seater. This baby here is a solo ride and you know what that means. It means you can do whatever the hell you like when you are behind the wheel. And you will want to do whatever the hell you like because, it is the most extreme and most terrain dominant Ripsaw to date. Track1 Is A Half-track Skateboard That Wants To Take On Any Terrain

You know what fascinates us with regards to off-road (skate)board? Track(s). If it has track(s), we are already half-sold. Just half. So, naturally, when we first lay eyes on the Track1, we are, well, half-sold. Though we can’t say the same for the price. But more on that later. Seriously, look at this thing. It has oversized wheels wrapped in off-road requisite knobby tires and a wide, low-profile track that makes it perfect for some serious all-terrain actions. And it is not just any track. The track was designed from the ground up for Track1 and it is where the magic is being turned out. Continue reading Track1 Is A Half-track Skateboard That Wants To Take On Any Terrain

This Is T14 Armata, Russia’s First Robot Tank With Unmanned Turret

As far as tank design goes, the newest main battle tank of Russia, the T14 Armata developed by long-time tank manufacturer UralVagonZavod, is nothing radical. It looks like what a tank supposed to be (and what a T tank supposed to be), but beneath that thick wall of armor is a rather interesting tech that allows this tank to go unmanned… but only on the turret (at least for now). Yeah, I find it rather odd too. If we read correctly, this means that T14 still needs to be driven by someone into the battle, while its fully automated 125mm main gun can be operated without a gun team. If that’s the case, it is indeed a strange proposition because therein lies a coordination issue. Continue reading This Is T14 Armata, Russia’s First Robot Tank With Unmanned Turret

Ripchair Will Turn Any Wheelchair Into An Off-Road-Happy Wheelchair

We have seen a few bad-ass vehicles that will enable wheelchair-bound individuals to experience the adrenalin thrill of off-roading again, but those, while awesome, requires wheelchair user to transfer themselves to another vehicle which obviously, is not exactly an easy task and hence, it feels like the off-road for wheelchair-bound person was an afterthought. However, Howe and Howe Technologies, the Maine-based company behind many military and commercial extreme off-road vehicles (including the apple of our eye, the Ripsaw luxury super tank!), has a more appropriate vehicle designed specifically for wheelchair users. If Lamborghini With Tank Tracks Is Real, It Would Be A Super Snowmobile

If there’s one thing petrolheads hate, it would be snow. Powdered covered roads are no good for cars and obviously, not safe for some serious tire burning. But what if your favorite ride, such as a Lamborghini Huracán, has tracked like snowmobiles? Well, then that, my friend, means whatever season comes, you can always hit the road, any road. So, snow? What snow? As you can see, this Lamborghini Huracán Snowmobile Concept by Estonia-based designer Rain Prisk don’t give a damn to snow. Hell, we’d say it would even take on beaten trails and undulating terrains normally reserved for off-roaders anytime – thanks to its four tank-like tracks. Russia’s First Armored Fire Truck Has T-72 and T-80 Tanks’ DNA In It

This is what you get when a tank maker decides to make a fire fighting vehicle. Simply referred to as Special Fire Fight Vehicle, this tank-based fire fighting machine is the product of Russia state-owned engineering company Omsktransmash, or Omsk Transport Machine Factory in English. Omsktransmash does not specifically build tanks though; it’s main business dealing is to give old Russian designed tanks new breath of life and because of this, it is able to conjured up a fire tank based on the parts and components from T-72 and T-80 tanks. So, technically speaking, it is a tank that’s designed to save than kill. Continue reading Russia’s First Armored Fire Truck Has T-72 and T-80 Tanks’ DNA In It

Nissan Gave Rogue Snow Mountain Climbing Ability With Snow Tracks

Going skiing? Why queue for the chairlift when you can scale up the powdered mountain with the Nissan Rouge? Oh, wait. The Rouge can’t do that, but the Rouge Warrior certainly can. Unfortunately, you won’t be seeing the Rouge Warrior at any ski resort; the vehicle was created to showcase the stock Rogue’s all-wheel drive and Nissan’s advanced Xtronic transmission. Aiding the Rogue to take on the snow mountain, it was outfitted with a set of Dominator heavy-duty snow tracks, each measuring 30” tall, 48” long and 15” wide (76 x 122 x 38 cm). This Insane Tank-body Fire Truck Uses MiG-21 Jet Engines To Fight Fire

Technically speaking, the fire truck you see here is not a fire truck; it should be called a fire tank jet, or jet fire tank, because it is actually a Frankenstein creation that composes of a WWII-era Russian T34 tank with a pair of MiG-21 fighter jet engines bolted on top of it. As you can see, the turret is no longer in existence and in its place, are jet engines good for 27,000 pounds of thrust each. And what the hell are jet engines doing atop of a tank? Well, to fight fire, of course, by the power of the immense gust kicked out by the MiG-21 jet engines. Continue reading This Insane Tank-body Fire Truck Uses MiG-21 Jet Engines To Fight Fire
