Virgin Galactic SpaceShip Two VSS Unity Unveiled By Sir Richard Branson

Good news, future space travelers! Virgin Galactic’s new SpaceShip Two has been unveiled at the Mojave Air & Space Port in California. The vehicle is named Virgin Spaceship (VSS) Unity by physicist Stephen Hawking, via recorded speech, and said he “would be proud to fly on this spaceship.” Well, I am sure there’s spot for him. Though not sure if he will be a guest or paying traveler. The new spaceship, draped in a new silver and white livery, was guided into position by one of the company’s support Range Rovers provided by its exclusive automative partner, Land Rover. The unveiling of VSS Unity also marks another milestone for Virgin Galactic as it is the first aircraft manufactured by the company’s wholly owned manufacturing arm, The Spaceship Company. Virgin Galactic’s Pilots Will Be Wearing This Designer’s Space Suit

Richard Branson is never known to be the forerunner in style. I mean, his fashion choice is ok and whatever he does thus far with respect to style for his businesses are quite alright. But when it comes to his space travel venture, i.e. Virgin Galactic, style plays an important role. In this case, travel in style, or should we say flying in style, will be fulfilled by Y-3. For the uninitiated, Y-3 is a collab between Adidas and Japanese design guru Yohji Yamamoto and so, yes, Virgin Galactic’s pilots will donning designer’s garment when they take to the space. Spaceport America opens its door for business

the name Spaceport signified that the future is here. well… almost. if you haven’t heard… as oppose to a ‘port in the Space’, Spaceport is actually a hub where future Spacecrafts will gather and take off into the Space. Virgin Galactic has completed the runway to its first commercial spaceport. named “Spaceport America”. located in New Mexico, the 2-mile long runway is built to support any form of spacecraft currently in existence–a short compatibility list. seriously, there aren’t many spacecraft to date.
