Smartphone maker TECNO has just revealed its first laptop at the IFA 2022 in Berlin. Designed with Gen-Z users in mind, the TECNO MEGABOOK TI promised to deliver MEGA performance in a stylish and thin design and at a “very competitive price.”
Speaking of design, TECNO MEGABOOK TI‘s aluminum chassis has a so-called Startrail Phantom design which has multiple glossy strips running across and the MEGABOOK branding cleverly integrated into the strips.
The TECNO MEGABOOK TI Laptop is outfitted with a 15.6-inch IPS FHD screen with 100% sRGB, 350 nits of brightness, DC adaptive dimming DC, and it has TÜV Eye Comfort Certification.
And it is fairly thin and light too, measuring just 14.8 mm and tipping the scales at 1.48 kilograms (3.3 pounds).
Running the clockwork is an Intel Core i5-1155G7, with an option for an Intel Core i7 processor, and a choice of 12 GB RAM with 512 GB storage or 16 GB with 1 TB storage.
Other notables include a 2 MP “physical privacy camera”, fingerprint power button, a “starry” backlit keyboard, TECNO VOC sound system, DTS-X sound, dual-mic plus AI ENC technology, Wi-Fi 6, a 70 Wh battery that offers up to 17.5 hours of use, and no less than 9 I/Os, including two USB Type-C ports, one HDMI port, one USB 3.1 port, two, USB 3.0 ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a TF card reader.
