Here’s a new kid in the smartphone block that wants you change phone less often. How less often? Well, that would be at least 4 years because, this phone, called Teracube, promised to last that long.

Consumers insatiable appetite of changing phone whether intentional or not has two consequences: piling of electronic waste, which are mostly non-recyclable, in landfills, and environmentally-damaging operation for rare earth metals required to make new phones.

Teracube Sustainable Smartphone

If you believe in minimizing the aforementioned, then Teracube is your best bet. Each Teracube phone comes with an industry first 4-year warranty and if that is not assuring enough, it further promised that it will last that long without slowing down. To be honest, I have absolutely no idea how Teracube is going to achieve that.

Anyways, in the event the 4-year warranty will cover all parts, performance, labor and two-way shipping at no cost and it even covers battery change should it ever be needed.

However, you do need to pay “a reasonable fee” if repair is require for damage caused by accident, liquid or misuse.
