Tesla 1:40 Scale Megapack Power Bank

A simple slab spells boring for a power bank. If you’re in the market for something with serious novelty factor, Tesla (yes, it’s Tesla, again) has you covered with a new mega-capacity portable charger. The EV maker, no stranger to small charging gadgets, has taken inspiration from its Megapack—this time reimagined as a portable charger in the likeness of the giant energy storage system.

Called the Tesla 1:40 Scale Megapack Charger, this miniature brick of power is modeled directly from the same 3D CAD data used to produce Tesla’s actual Megapack. Every detail is recreated, right down to operable access doors (!), so it looks like you smuggled a tiny utility facility onto your desk.

Inside the faux industrial shell sits a 21,000 mAh (76.65 Wh) battery. It supports up to three devices at once via one USB-A and two USB-C ports. Single-port output hits a beefy 100 W, while three ports together max out at 108 W. Input peaks at 65 W depending on your adapter and cable. Oh, and when powered on, it glows red, which feels like you’ve just armed a portable reactor.

The Tesla 1:40 Scale Megapack Charger will run you back US$120—if that is your kind of thing.
