Tesla is like the Apple of the automobile world. Even though it sets the standard sometimes in a radical way, it managed to secure the hate of some. The Cybertruck is one such “standard” that may have radicalized the truck’s design, but it has been laughed at for getting stuck in rocky river beds and mud. That said, it is never really meant for off-roading, well, not at least until you outfit it with this: the Tesla Cybertruck Terrestrial Armor Package.

The Terrestrial Armor Package adds proper off-road grit to the shiny stainless steel wedge. It slaps on a pair of coated steel rock sliders (left and right) and a hefty underbody shield made from aluminum to guard the Cybertruck’s giant battery from rocks, roots, and whatever the great outdoors throws at it. Combined, the kit weighs around 185 pounds (84 kg)—which isn’t much when you consider the truck itself already tips the scale like a rolling bunker.
In other words, this kit is Tesla finally admitting that some Cybertruck owners will actually try to live out their “end of days” survival fantasies off pavement. The package is compatible with the Cybertruck Cyberbeast and All-Wheel Drive models.
Foundation Series owners get first dibs, while non-Foundation versions will have access from September 2025. Price is US$3,500 including shipping and installation at your preferred Tesla Service Center.
