The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts teamed up with British luxury luggage brand Globe-Trotter to create a limited edition suitcase collection with artworks by Buenos Aires born, New York-based, art direction and fashion consultant, Sofia Sanchez de Betak. The collection comprises of four pieces, inspired by Sofia’s stay at, you guess it, The Luxury Collection’s hotels and resorts in four separate locations in Greece. Each artwork is a map of the area where Sofia visited, presented in watercolor style that evokes scavenger hunt map. Sofia explains:

“For me, traveling is a treasure hunt—I love exploring new places and creating my own memorable experiences… for the design of this luggage collection, I wanted to create a scavenger hunt map inspired by my trip to Greece for fellow travelers to follow. A combination of insider tips from The Luxury Collection concierges and personal recommendations from locals and experts allowed me to curate the ‘must sees’ on my maps for global explorers to find!”

The results are, needless to say, very impressive but unfortunately, the artwork can only found on the inside the handmade 22 x 15 x 8 inches suitcase, which means, only the user will get to enjoy the masterpiece. And you surely want somebody to see it, after all, the suitcase isn’t cheap, costing a cool $2,005 a piece. Undaunted? Then you can acquire it from The Luxury Collection Store, Globe-Trotter web store and if you desire, Globe-Trotter’s flagship boutique in London.
