Super fans of the original Star Wars trilogy will not want to miss out on this latest Star Wars literature published by Taschen. The Star Wars Archives Episodes IV-VI 1977-1983 (ISBN 978-3-8365-6340-6, Taschen) book is the definitive exploration of the original trilogy that exploded onto the silver screens in 1977.

The book is authored by Paul Duncan, a film historian who was behind a host of other movie books including The James Bond Archive, The Godfather Family Album, Taxi Driver, and more. There are two versions of The Star Wars Archives Episodes IV-VI 1977-1983.
The first was a 604-page hardcover, quarter-bound book measuring 41.1 x 30 cm (16.2 x 11.8 inches) and weighing 7.04 kg (15.5 lbs), published in November 2018. The second we found was a 40th Edition celebrating Taschen’s 40 years in business, published in November 2020 (ISBN-13: 978-3836581172, Taschen). It has 512 pages, is also hardcover, measures 6.4 x 1.7 x 8.8 inches (16.3 x 4.3 x 22.4 cm), and weighs 3.12 lbs (1.42 kg). The former is available on Amazon for US$169.99 and the latter is just US$27.40.
